Hereinafter “BrightAnalytics”, “we” or “us”
We ensure that your Personal Data is processed securely and lawfully, and always in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation. In this Privacy Statement, we explain which Personal Data we process for (a) the registration and use of the BrightAnalytics platform for consolidated management reporting (hereinafter the “Platform”) and (b) the use of our website http://www.brightanalytics.eu/ (hereinafter the “Website”).
All capitalized terms not defined in this Statement shall have the meaning as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation.
Please read this Privacy Statement carefully. It describes not only your rights but also the way you can exercise them.

This Privacy Statement may be adapted and amended in the future, which will be made clear by the date at the top of this Privacy Statement. It is your responsibility to take this Privacy Statement into account. Any substantial changes will always be communicated.

- Data Controller for the processing of your Personal Data that we collect via the Website, through contact requests, from job applicants, etc.

What Personal Data do we process, from whom, and for what purposes?
We process different types of Personal Data. The Personal Data listed below (among others) may be processed by us. We do not process sensitive personal data of the end-user, such as information about your race, political opinions, health, religious and other beliefs, sexual orientation, and the like.
Visitors of the Website

Customers and their registered users

Who has access to my Personal Data?
Website hosting
We use Hoasted for managing and hosting the Website. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Hoasted B.V.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics to monitor and analyze the use of our Website. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Website. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Website available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visit activity.
Social Media Providers
Through our websites, you can follow us on social media channels, such as YouTube and LinkedIn, e.g., via a ‘follow’ button or a hyperlink that directs you to the respective social media channel. When you click on a follow button or hyperlink, the respective social media provider collects your Personal Data directly from you, without us sharing it. Other parties
We may also share your Personal Data with:
- (sub)contractors to assist us in fulfilling the purposes mentioned above;
- service providers for monitoring and analyzing the use of our Website, for processing payments, or to contact you;
- affiliated companies, joint venture partners, or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us. We will require these affiliates to comply with this Privacy Policy;
- our accountants, auditors, lawyers, or similar advisors when we ask them to provide us with professional advice;
- the judicial, police, or administrative authorities if we are obliged to disclose or share your personal data to comply with a legal obligation, a binding decision of an administrative authority, or a court order;

We will only share your Personal Data with these third parties provided that they (a) as Data Controllers comply with the GDPR or (b) as Processors have entered into a processing agreement with us. Processing of Personal Data outside the EEA
We are a Belgian company and, in principle, we strive to process your Personal Data exclusively within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, it is possible that your Personal Data may be transferred to countries outside the EEA – through our (sub)processors.
If your Personal Data is transferred to a country where an adequate level of protection does not apply according to the applicable legislation, we will take the necessary measures to ensure an equivalent level of protection. This can be done, for example, by using standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or by implementing other appropriate safeguards.
How do we protect your Personal Data
We have developed appropriate technical and organizational measures, safeguards, and guarantees to process your Personal Data in accordance with applicable Belgian and European regulations, and in particular to protect your Personal Data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration.
Furthermore, we have concluded a processing agreement with our (sub)processors to secure your Personal Data and have taken various internal measures regarding confidentiality. We make all reasonable/necessary efforts to protect the confidentiality of your Personal Data.
How long do we keep your Personal Data
We do not retain your Personal Data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is stored. We retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain it to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We also retain usage data (i.e., data collected automatically, generated by the use of the Website or the Platform itself) for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Website or our Platform, or when we are legally obligated to retain this data for a longer period.

What are my rights as a Data Subject?
To the extent provided for in the applicable Belgian and European regulations, you have the right:
- to a confirmation as to whether or not we process your Personal Data and, where that is the case, access to the Personal Data that we process;
- to rectification, without undue delay, of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data;
- to have your Personal Data erased;
- to obtain your Personal Data and to transfer it to another Controller or Processor;
- to obtain from us the restriction of the processing of your Personal Data, to the extent possible;
- to receive your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format;
- to object to the Processing of your Personal Data and to the use of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes.
You can exercise these rights by contacting us. If we are the Data Controller with respect to the Personal Data concerned, we will handle your request if appropriate. If we are the Processor for the Personal Data concerned, we will put you in contact with the relevant Data Controller.
In the event of a data breach, data subjects will be notified immediately. We have established a procedure to ensure that all data breaches are reported to the data subjects quickly and effectively, in accordance with applicable law.
If and to the extent provided for in the applicable Belgian and European regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if the processing of your Personal Data violates the applicable regulations.
